All about Mary
I have spent the last decade living and working in Los Angeles. My roots have always been here in Renton and I always knew that I would return home someday. That someday came for me after I realized I was working a job that I wanted to make a life out of. After more than 10 years working with crafters and doing tons of LA based shows I found my dream job working in one of the trendiest underground markets in the world. I got a job managed a 5000 sq ft. retail location that highlighted independent crafters, jewelers, designers, and artist. What an amazing experience. I was helping promote those in the community who, like me, were always looking for something a little more unique. I have always been drawn towards the art of handcrafted items. I am so amazed at the talent that everyday people have, and sometimes don't even realize. In this job I became a trend scout, and made it a point to not only put talent into the store, but help promote them around town. I had become one of the fortunate people who got to go to a job they loved everyday.
One morning, upon realizing it was time for me to come back home, I had the thought that I should open my own store in Renton! I began working hard on a business plan and now here I am!
The best thing about what I do is meeting all the talent and finding out there story. I am so thankful for the opportunity to share this work with the public and gladly take care of all the business side of crafting so you can focus on what is most important, working on your craft!
